Hello, and welcome to Goldfish Counselling. I'm Melissa, the founder of this practice, and I'd like to share with you why I chose the name "Goldfish" and what it means to me:

At Goldfish, we understand the importance of recognising and celebrating individual differences. We're committed to helping neurodivergent individuals and their families discover and nurture their talents, allowing them to thrive.

It's said that goldfish grow to their environment, that the more room they have the larger they become. This is something that resonated with me, as it highlights the importance of environments, and support. We're dedicated to creating supportive and nurturing environments. We understand that neurodivergent individuals have diverse needs, and we're here to ensure that their surroundings empower them to grow, rather than hinder their progress.

Our name also pays tribute to the love and fascination for aquatic life that my own child has. His journey helped me to find my passion for the work I now do, and inspired me to start Goldfish Counselling.
